Steripod normal saline is used for the topical irrigation of traumatic and surgical wounds.

Steripod normal saline is a sterile solution of 0.9% w/v sodium chloride Ph. Eur. in purified water Ph. Eur., packed in a polyethylene ampoule.

Steripod normal saline avoids the need for swabs, gallipots, pipettes and syringes, making it cost-effective and convenient for use in hospitals, health centres and on home visits. Twist off the ‘no-touch nozzle’ and the Steripod is ready for use. Squeeze firmly for directional irrigation, and gently for drop-by-drop dispensing.
