0.02% BAC Test - Zero Tolerance (Pack of 3)

The Breath Alcohol Detector is for rapid detection of the presence of alcohol in the exhaled breath and provides relative Blood Concentration (BAC) at 0.02%.

The test is based on a chemical chromogenic reaction. Alcohol, if present in the exhaled breath, reacts with the chemically coated crystals and produced a colour change. This colour change is proportional to the concentration of alcohol in the breath, which is an approximation of the relative Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC).

This test (BAC) at 0.02% should be used if you offer a ZERO tolerance to alcohol

Step 1

• Remove the Breath Alcohol Detector from it's protective packaging

Step 2

• Gently break the inner test tube of the test as shown. This releases the crystals in to the main chamber of the test

Step 3

• Blow through the tube using the direction of the arrows indicated on the tube for the time indicated

Step 4

• If alcohol is detected, the crystals will turn from yellow/off white to green depending on which level you are detecting. The test can only be used once
