Sidhil - Electric Hoist

The Sidhil portable electric bedhead hoist has been designed for everyday indoor use as an aid to transfer a person from bed to chair, wheelchair, commode or other such items.

Designed to transfer a person weighing up to 140kg (22 stone) in weight this system will cover the majority of demands and provide valuable assistance to nurses and carers.

The Sidhil hoist is manufactured from high quality components with all steel elements finished in a durable powder coating to aid cleaning and infection control.

Although a hoist is often left in place for long periods of time, Sidhil has added the opportunity to dismantle and assemble the system quickly. This has been achieved through the utilisation of a modular design, which enables the operator to transport the manageable pieces with minimum effort. Once in place, the hoist’s electric actuator can be connected to the domestic mains power supply, without the need for additional power converters.

As with a number of Sidhil products, the metalwork on the electrically operated bedhead hoist is coated using Biocote to significantly reduce the possibility of cross-contamination and infection transfer.
