This outstanding CE Approved pulse oximeter offers both adult and child finger probes, which allow for more accurate readings than those obtained with fingertip pulse oximeters. CMS60C Pulse Oximeter Features
CMS60C Pulse Specification
This is the flexible sensor cable supplied with the meter. Made from rubber, the sensor is built into the pad, as shown, and will be flashing red. The finger tip must be placed over the flashing sensor, in order to obtain a reading.
Once the finger is in place, you can secure the sensor probe using the rubber strap. Being designed from the ground up for use with babies, and very small children, the strap has no sharp edges, and is made completely out of soft rubber. The strap is supplied in order to ensure the sensor probe remains in place while a reading is taken.
This shows the sensor probe held in place on the finger. The length of the cable, from the pulse oximeter device to the sensor probe, is about 1 metre. All other features and benefits of this excellent meter can be found on the Instructions tab. Important NoticeWhen buying a pulse oximeter it is important to consider the age groups that you will be intending to use the device with. Fingertip pulse oximeter devices are generally better suited for use with adults. This is due to both the weight of the device, and the larger aperture of the hole to insert the finger. Whilst these devices can be used on infants, and neonates, it will be difficult to get an accurate reading. If you are intending to use a pulse oximeter with infants and/or neonates, we recommend a device like the cms60c pulse oximeter which comes with a specific probe designed for use with infants, as well as a probe for use with adults. |
