Return To Base Calibration/Testing: Hyfrecators

The Hyfrecator Electrosurical Unit is not usually part of a Calibration service and is at most given a visual check and a PAT test (please check your last report on what they did with your Hyfrecator).

This is a highly sophisticated piece of equipment and the consequences of a malfunctioning unit can be huge. We have invested heavily in being able to offer the next level of testing of your electrosurgical unit. We test under operating conditions with different levels of output using the unit in Low mode, High Mode, in addition to being able to check the Bipolar option on the unit, and the important patient plate, to ensure your unit is safe to use in general surgery.

We are now offering a return to base calibration/testing option for Hyfrecators. We have designed this procedure to minimise the disruption to your medical services, whilst still ensuring your equipment is compliant with safety regulations, and tested regularly. This service includes both full Calibration and PAT Testing.

Step 1:

Contact us to book in your Hyfrecator for Calibration/Testing.
Step 2:

We will send a Pelican strong case to you, to ensure your equipment is protected adequately during transit to us.
Step 3:

Package your Hyfrecator into the case and arrange for our courier to collect the package.
Step 4:

On arrival, we will Calibrate/Test your Hyfrecator, generate a testing report, and then ship the Hyfrecator back to you.

We are currently able to offer this excellent service for £70 plus VAT.

This return to base procedure is ideal for use during surgery "down-times", because of the fast turn-around time.

If you would like to dicuss this service with a member of our calibration team, please contact us.
